Images and Words

He sits in the dark. He has been there before. He knows the feeling and yet he can feel the excitement. His pulse quickens, eager in anticipation.

The music starts

He closes his eyes. A fleeting glimpse of a woman. An image in black and white. A perfect smile.

Wish you were here.

PS: It's not 55 words and doesn't fit the norm but I don't care!

Damn. I was going to tag you. Looks like all the people I was to tag got tired of me taking my own sweet time with the 55-word tag, and went about doing it by themselves.

Sorry about that : ) The prequel shall follow.

Nice one, Prashanth. Why doesn't it fit the norms? Titles are excluded when it comes to word counts.

So true! They don't make songs like em anymore. And imagine the shock they would have had when Syd actually walked in during the recording!
